Today, we had a 50-item summative exam about all the topic we discussed since week 2 starting from relevance of history to critical evaluation and promotion of local and oral history.

Today, group 4 reported about Critical Evaluation and Promotion of Local and Oral History, Museums, Historical Shrines, Cultura, Performances, Indigenous Practices, Religious Rites and Rituals. We had a quiz after the discussion and scored an accuracy of 90%.

Today, we checked the 50-item quiz we took last Friday about taxation and land reform STUFF. It covered different policies, concepts, and their impact on society. I got a perfect score of 50.

Today we had a quiz about agrarian reform topics like the encomienda system, land redistribution, peasant movements, and government policies. The questions covered how these reforms affected land ownership, rural society, and poverty reduction in the Philippines. I answered all of them correctly and scored 100 on the quiz.

Today, Group 3 presented Chapter 4 on Social, Political, Economic, and Cultural Issues in Philippine History, but their report was cut short due to lack of time. The presentation will continue next Tuesday.

Our group did a reporting today covering historical controversies like the Cavite Mutiny and the Cry of Balintawak or Pugadlawin. I was in charge of discussing the details regarding the Site of the First Mass. To wrap things up, we organized a fun Kahoot quiz for our classmates.

Group 1 gave a presentation on analyzing the perspective, content, and context of primary sources. The discussion included examining the author's main argument and point of view. To end the session, we took a quiz where I earned a score of 20.

We started by discussing the true meaning of history and why it is still relevant to us today. The lesson moved on to the difference between primary and secondary sources and where we can find them in repositories. Finally, we learned about using External and Internal Criticism to check if a source is actually reliable.

It is the first day of the course. We discussed the course syllabus and the professor explained the house rules. We also talked about the course requirements and how the grading system works so we know how to pass.
